NH Music Collective presents April Cushman live! New Hampshire native April Cushman is a top 10 emerging artist and songwriter, recognized by Tractor Supply and Grammy-winning Lainey Wilson. Named the 2022 & 2023 Country Act of the Year by the New England Music Awards, April captivates audiences with her blend of Ashley McBryde’s style and Lori McKenna’s storytelling.
Starting her musical journey at age five, April sang in church and excelled in school bands, mastering flute, saxophone, and guitar. Influenced by artists like Terri Clark and Wynonna Judd, she has supported acts such as Kip Moore and Scotty McCreery, and appeared at shows for Darius Rucker and Old Dominion.
Living on her family farm in Swanzey, NH, with her husband Mike and daughter Maddison, April is preparing for her next album, set to release in 2024. Her debut album, “The Long Haul,” produced by Grammy-nominated Colt Capperrune, reached #16 on the iTunes Country Album charts.

Singer/songwriter extraordinaire, Paul Hubert performs on guitar, vocals, harmonica and banjo. His mix of retro/roots music strikes a balance between the old and the new, channeling great songs of the past and fusing the timelessness of the best folk music with the urgency of the blues.
His guitar playing demonstrates a thorough grounding in finger and flatpicking styles. His singing is heartfelt and true. He highlights exciting original tunes and unique covers, distilling a wide range of American music, folk and blues to old-timey and popular, into a truly personal, one-of-a-kind style.

Chris Lester

NH Music Collective presents Chris Lester live! Chris Lester is a New Hampshire-based singer, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and producer. He started in New England, joined Wild Horses in California, and later moved back to NH to join the award-winning band Mama Kicks. In 2010, he played on Sully Erna’s Avalon album, which broke the Top 25 on Billboard, and toured the US and Canada.
In 2014, Chris played guitar with Carole King, and in 2016, he contributed to Sully Erna’s Hometown Life album. He has toured Bulgaria and the East Coast, playing various instruments. Chris now performs with The Dark Desert Eagles and as a solo artist.
